As a guide, the costs of some common treatments are displayed below. You will be given a full estimate and treatment plan after examination and will be advised of any proposed changes during a course of treatment.
When booking your appointment please let us know if you think you may qualify for the Treatment Benefit Scheme or if you hold a valid medical card and your eligibility can be confirmed prior to attending the surgery.

Adults (over 16 years of age) who have a valid medical card can access dental services and treatments under the Dental Treatment Service Scheme.
Medical card holders are entitled to specific dental treatments free of charge. This includes one Dental Examination, two fillings and any extractions required in any one calendar year.
Additional treatments for example, teeth cleaning may be free of charge to medical card holders with specific medical conditions, subject to prior approval from the HSE.

PRSI
Examination – Free of Charge once per calendar year
Scale and Polish – €15 once per calendar year
The Treatment Benefit Scheme is a scheme run by the Department of Social Protection that provides dental, optical and aural services to qualified people.
The Treatment Benefit Scheme is available to insured workers, the self employed, retired people and their spouses who have the required number of PRSI contributions.

MED 2
You can claim tax relief for non-routine dental treatment including root canal treatment, periodontal treatment, tip replacements, crown and bridge work and surgical extraction of impacted wisdom teeth
We can provide you with a signed Med 2 form following completion and full payment for eligible treatments which you should keep in your records.
